'Project D' at The Head Office

The Head Office Taranaki recently launched their ‘Project D’ programme, which is a strength-based programme for students with dyslexia.

The programme offers a small group learning environment, where learners can work with like-minded peers, and use assistive technologies.

With funding from Toi Foundation, The Head Office was able to research international best practices and develop the programme which is the first of its kind in New Zealand.

Feedback has shown that the learners became more resilient and more confident in their learning following the programme. More classes are planned for the future.
